About Me
I am a math teacher and graduate of the UTeach program at UT-Austin. I've confronted physics majors with the central mysteries of quantum mechanics and relativity; speedrun med school applicants through a focused and efficient review of the whole of undergrad physics; helped engineers connect the concepts of circuits and light to their engineering discipline; and assisted computer science students in mastering the intricacies of computer processor design.
I'm currently enjoying the hardest and most interesting adventure in my teaching career -- guiding high school students as they become mathematical thinkers and communicators. My goal is to find a high-needs school where I can work with a committed administration to build a first-class math and physics program.
In my spare time, I enjoy bowling, good books and old cars, and I've finished several cycling and triathlon events (including a half-ironman triathlon in October 2006).
